Welcome to John Riley Photography!

My photography started early, probably around nine or ten years old, with the discovery of an old Kodak Brownie box camera, but it wasn’t till around 1969 that it became my major hobby.

This developed over the years and really came alive with the purchase of my first Pentax SP1000 in 1976 and I became a confirmed Pentax User. Logically, at some point many years later I started writing articles for Pentax User magazine.

Following redundancy in 2008 the pursuit became full time and I began to seriously shoot wedding, commercial work and continued to write articles for Pentax User, adding to that reviewing cameras for ePHOTOzine and then becoming their lens and camera reviewer.

I still use Pentax cameras for my own photography, but also a vast array of other marques as I review lenses and cameras.

To see literally thousands of images, please follow the link at the bottom of the page to view my ePHOTOzine Gallery and Blog. In due course images will be in my Gallery on this site, but while that builds up then EPZ is the place to view my wider body of work.

So, welcome to my website, do stay awhile and feel free to keep in touch!
